Alan Roberts
Alan Roberts is a pink and white flake Spencer variety, with dramatic pink markings on the backs of the petals against a white background.

Albutt Blue
A fragrant beauty, Albutt Blue is a bright white semi-grandiflora with a lavender edge. Bred by Harvey Albutt.

Almost Black
A grandiflora sweet pea, and one of the darkest varieties out there. Velvety petals of a deep purple, so deep they look almost black. Bred by Keith Hammett in 2009.

Blue Shift
One of the most unique sweet peas of our 2024 growing season, Blue Shift is a Spencer variety that transforms from a dusty purple to an iridescent mauve-blue. Bred by Keith Hammett.

Beautiful petals that range from a bright coral, to salmon, to a soft orange pink, Candyfloss is a Spencer variety that was bred by Keith Hammett.

Castlewellan
Blush pink flowers that are extremely frilly with an amazing scent. Castlewellan is a Spencer variety bred by Mark Harrod. An all-time favorite sweet pea.

Cathy
Cream-colored petals with a heavenly scent, Cathy is a semi-grandiflora sweet pea bred by the British seed company, Unwins Seeds. One of the best scented sweet peas we grew in 2024.

Chelsea Centenary
A soft, pale blue sweet pea with frilly petals, long stems, and a lovely fragrance. Chelsea Centenary is a Spencer variety bred by Keith Hammett.

Cilla
A fluffy Spencer variety in a pale blue flush with white background. Extremely romantic, and looks like the color of the sky when the sun is setting on a cool summer’s evening. Bred by Bell/Parsons in 2020.

Clementine Kiss
Clementine orange, with a hint of salmon pink, Clementine Kiss is a Spencer variety bred by Matthewmans Sweet Peas.

Cupani
Called Cupani’s Original, this beauty is the oldest known cultivated sweet pea… its history goes back to the 17th century where it was discovered by a Sicilian monk named Father Francis Cupani. He sent some of the seeds he found growing wild in Sicily back to England. It’s shorter, but gets bushy and is extremely floriferous.

Emily
Emily is a dusty rose-pink Spencer variety with dainty petals and curly tendrils of foliage. She’s both romantic and sweet. This sweet pea is an antique: it was raised by House & Son and first introduced in 1912.

Ethel Grace
Fluffy amethyst-colored petals and long stems and high fragrance on this gorgeous Spencer variety sweet pea. Raised by B.R. Jones/Bolton in 1994.

Florencecourt
Orange/cerise flowers that fade to white in the center, Florencecourt is a regal Spencer variety, bred by Sydney Harrod.

Geranium Pink
Hot pink and coral petals on this Spencer sweet pea make a splash in the garden. Bred by Stark, G & Son in the 1950s.

Greenfingers

Heaven Scent is an all-time favorite for good reason. This Spencer variety is a soft, peachy pink and highly scented. Bred by Sydney Harrod.

Creamy, buff, and light pink flowers with a delightful scent. Modern grandiflora variety introduced by Unwins in 2002.

Just Jenny
A deep midnight blue Spencer variety sweet pea, bred by Eagle Sweet Peas in 2005.

Kings Ransom
One of the most highly coveted sweet pea varieties here in the U.S. Kings Ransom is hard to find in stock anywhere! Kings Ransom produces dusty pink to coral blossoms that fade to an antique plum. Bred by Andy Beane/E.W. King and introduced in 2021.

Lady Nicholson
Lady Nicholson is a bright white Spencer variety with a fuschia stripe. Introduced by Roger Parsons in 2016.

Lathyrus Chloranthus
Lathyrus Chloranthus is a rarely cultivated, unscented species of annual sweet pea, unlike its fragrant cousin, Lathyrus Odoratus. Don’t let that deter you, though—its dainty, lemon-lime flowers are stunning and unique to the species. It is highly floriferous with incredibly tendril-y foliage that makes for a beautiful addition to the garden or flower arrangement. This species is native to Türkiye through Central Asia.

Lunar Blue
Like the color of the sky at dusk, Lunar Blue is an incredibly special Grandiflora variety bred by Washington’s own Uprising Seeds in 2019. It’s a semi-dwarf variety that gets shrubby and puts on lots of blooms which glimmer in the sun like little moons.

Marion
The silky purple blossoms of this Spencer variety are highly scented. Marion is a sweetie that’s hard to resist. Bred by Walker and introduced in 1983.

Millennium
Dramatic, velvety hot pink—almost red—blossoms on this highly scented Spencer variety sweet pee, bred by Unwins and introduced in 2000.

Mollie Rilstone
Mollie Rilstone’s fluffy petals are an antique pink, that fade to cream in the center. Her stems are also a delightful reddish brown making her a unique addition to any bouquet. Spencer variety bred by Tremewan in 1989.

Monarch’s Diamond
Rich cream with pink frilly edges, Monarch’s Diamond is fit for a queen. Spencer variety bred by Unwins in 1986.

Nimbus
Nimbus is a robust Spencer variety with a dark hazy purple stripe on a grey background. Bred by Unwins in 1996.

Oban Bay
Gorgeous light blue, lavender-tinted-white blossoms, that are as fluffy as the clouds on a sunny summer day. Spencer variety introduced by Chisholm and Bolton in 1997.

Painted Lady
Painted Lady is a historical sweet pea. A grandiflora dating back to the 1730s, she was the first named sweet pea cultivar, the result of a natural color mutation from the original purple Italian species to a beautiful rose, pastel pink and cream bicolor.

Pandemonium
Large flowers with a purple/fuchsia flake, Pandemonium is a Spencer variety bred by Keith Hammett in 2009.

Prince of Orange
One of the orangiest sweet peas in our field. Prince of Orange is a Grandiflora variety with a range of hot pink to orangey-coral petals. Bred by Morse and first introduced in 1928.

Promise
A darling bi-colored Spencer variety sweet pea with white centers and pink outer petals. Bred by Parsons in 2005.

Queen of Hearts
An absolute stunner of a sweet pea. Frilly white flowers with just the slightest pink edge. In the sun, they sparkle. Queen of my heart. Spencer variety bred by Tullett/Unwins in 2001.

Restormel
A Spencer variety in a bright cerise/orange, Restormel was introduced by Tremewan in 1989.

Rowallane
Rowallane has light cerise petals with a creamy center. Spencer variety bred by Sydney Harrod/Unwins in 2006.

Solitude
A fragrant sweet pea that starts off with light lavender buds and blooms into a beautiful frilly purple. Spencer variety bred by Harrod/Unwins in 2014.

Solstice Light Blue
Like a clear sky at dusk, solstice light blue is a multiflora Spencer variety with beautiful light blue petals. Bred by David Lemon in 2008.

Solway Shimmer
With a frilly flower in shades of pink and white, Solway does in fact shimmer. Spencer variety bred by Parsons introduced in 2017.

Suzy Z
Also called Maroon Flake, Suzy Z has a maroon/purple flake on a white background. Bred by Owls Acre in 2002-2003.

Tara
A star when it comes to frills. Tara is Barbie pink with some of the fluffiest, frilliest, and curliest petals. Spencer variety bred by Sydney Harrod and E.W. King.

Turquoise
Turquoise Lagoon—also known as just Turquoise—is a Spencer variety bred by Keith Hammett in 2012. It’s a semi-dwarf variety that starts out as light lavender and fades to a beautiful turquoise color.

White Frills
White Frills has bright white petals and a gorgeous scent. Spencer variety bred by Truslove/Kerton in 2002.

Wiltshire Ripple
Chocolate stripes on a white background, Wiltshire Ripple is a unique sweet pea to have in the garden. A Spencer variety bred in 1983 by Wiltshire/Beane/T&M.
